I read it because I am interested in Steiner's thought as it informed the thought and work of Owen Barfield, especially informing Barfield's, mythmaking, understanding of symbol, and Anthroposophy.I am interested in Barfield as an Inkling. This book is an interesting alternative to Tolkien.
